1. Who we are

The Celebration Centre is operated and managed by Complete Events Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”). In these documents, “the Venue” means The Celebration Centre marquee, its grounds, car park, vendor and changing areas at 1 Orchid Drive, Cardinal Olubunmi Okoje Avenue, Sangotedo, Lagos.

Complete Events Limited is the data controller for personal information described here. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and guidance from the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

2. What we collect

• Enquiries: your name, phone number, email, event type, preferred date, guest numbers and message, when you send them to us by WhatsApp, email or phone.
• Bookings through Cal.com: your name, email, phone number and the answers you give (such as event date and guest numbers).
• Chat assistant: the questions you type stay in your browser for that visit only. Nothing is sent to us unless you choose to continue on WhatsApp.
• Booking and billing: contact details, invoice and payment records for your event.
• At the Venue: CCTV images for safety and security.
• Website: basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) recorded by our hosting providers to run and protect the site.

3. Why we use it (and our lawful basis)

• To answer enquiries and arrange visits (steps you ask us to take before a contract).
• To deliver your booking and handle payments (performance of a contract, legal obligations for accounting records).
• To keep people and property safe (legitimate interests).
• To send occasional news or offers, only if you agree (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the website and bookings, under their own security and privacy terms: Vercel and Lovable (website hosting), Cal.com (appointment booking), Google (email, calendar and maps), and Meta (WhatsApp). Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria; where they do, we rely on the safeguards permitted by the NDPA.

Suppliers you appoint for your event, only as needed. Authorities, where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 12 months.
• Booking, invoice and payment records: 6 years, for accounting and tax purposes.
• CCTV: normally 30 days, unless needed for an incident.

6. Your rights

Under the NDPA you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain uses, withdraw consent, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Message us using the contact details below; we respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

7. Security

We use reputable providers with encryption in transit (HTTPS), limit access to people who need it, and never ask for card or banking passwords.
